Hi everyone,

Been a while since I have come on here, things are still not good, but getting extra help now so hope things will improve soon.

Just wanted to share with you, our son Stuart and his lovely fiance Lisa have presented 'us' with a beautiful grandaughter, born on
Sat 13th August weighing 7lb 5oz. Lily Anne, she is so like her daddy, who in turn is so like his daddy, so happy for them but so sad
that my darling Pete is not here to share the cuddles with me. I have cried so much since her birth because he wont ever hold her but
I know that he is watching over her and keeping her safe as he is with all of us.

Next June Stuart and Lisa are to marry, dont have a clue how I will cope with that one, thats another day!

Hope you are all ok ish and the dreadful wicked RA is not taking over too much.

Love and ((((Hugs)))) to all, always thinking of you all.

Congratulations Carol! Smile

A new little one to cuddle is always so lovely. My daughter had her 3rd child in February and his dear little face with his lovely smile always cheers me up.

Enjoy.

Love Shirley x

Congratulations Carol,

Being a Grandma is such a privilege and I am sure you will enjoy many cuddles. It must also be so hard for you without your husband, a very bitter sweet experience but I am sure that as she grows she will bring you so much love and laughter. We have just got back today from spending a few days with our 2 grandchildren age 4 and 3 and they bring such joy into our lives.

Look forward to hearing from you again.

Best Wishes

Sue

Hi Carol. That is lovely news albeit tinged with sadness but I am sure your little granddaughter will wipe away the tears and help you to cope with your loss.

Oh Carol-how lovely for you and what a beautiful name she has too!
I can't begin to imagine the sorrow you must feel with her grandad not being there to'physically' hold her but my goodness I bet he had a hand in sending her to you!
And how lovely that Lily has her own very special someone always watching her.
Many Congratulations to you all all.
